This is more than financial support.
It is a sign that the vision is becoming reality.

Bako Sanctuary was created with a simple belief: our community deserves dignity, belonging, and connection, even while building a life far from home. We exist to create spaces where people feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate the challenges of settling, surviving, and thriving in a new place.

This first funding milestone allows us to begin taking meaningful steps toward that vision, strengthening our support, growing our community work, and laying foundations for the spaces we’ve all been hoping for.
